A PHOENIX ARIZONA DESERT ELOPEMENT DRAPED IN "TIFFANY BLUE"

I want to start by saying that I LOVE elopements... I especially love a SUPER SECRET one that nobody knows about until after the vows are exchanged, the photos are taken, and the newlyweds have celebrated their intimate union together. This was the case with A & E, who wish to remain anonymous until they "formally" wed alongside their dearest friends and family.

The two were on business for the week in Scottsdale, Arizona, when they decided enough was enough, they wanted an intimate Arizona elopement and they wanted it today. They took a trip down to a local courthouse, said their "I Do's", rented a classic car, and entrusted me to capture their first few moments as husband and wife. The session was a dream to photograph and the excitement of their unplanned elopement lingered on their faces and in their touch the entire session... it was seriously the sweetest thing.

We planned out the perfect sunset spot, only a stone's throw from the salt river where the wild horses graze. We parked the "Tiffany Blue" classic Mercedes Benz from Jenz Benz (www.instagram.com/jenzbenzaz) just outside the Phon D Recreation site alongside a century old saguaro cactus, and spent the sunset in love and creating some serious magic.

Nearing the end of sunset, a massive dust storm rolled in turning the sky a stunning pastel pink and giving the two east coast natives a true taste of the Arizona desert. We quickly snapped a few windy veil shots before barricading ourselves in out cars to wait out the storm.

Their vision for their surprise little Arizona elopement was absolutely stunning, and I'm honored to have been a part of such a sweet little secret. Congratulations A & E - I wish you a lifetime of happiness.
